Are you looking to through-hike along the PCT, PNT, or elsewhere in the North Cascades? Our Highway 20 Hiker Shuttle provides transportation from Winthrop and Mazama to various popular trailheads along Highway 20. Connections available to Hart’s Pass and Mount Vernon!
Shuttle Details
Thursday - Monday: July 9 - September 28, 2026
Pricing: $45 per hiker (one-way)
Minimum: 2 hiker or $90 minimum to operate
Solo Hiker? If other passengers join, we will refund you the $45 passenger slot you didn’t need.
Capacity: 10 passengers

Note: Due to the longer drive time, pick-ups and drop-offs at Ross Dam or Colonial Creek Campground are an extra $15 per passenger.

This is a direct shuttle route from Mazama to Rainy Pass. We will stop at other trailheads on our 4:00 PM return shuttle from Highway 20 to Winthrop.
Highway 20 to Winthrop: Eastbound (PM)

4:10 PM: Bridge Creek
4:30 PM: Cutthroat
5:00 PM: Mazama
5:30 PM: Winthrop
Who should join our shuttle?
Backpackers: Starting at $45 per hiker (one-way)
Don’t worry about bringing two cars, doubling up the drive, and worrying about congested trailhead parking lots. We are the “ski lift on wheels” for backpackers in the North Cascades. You can book the Highway 20 Hiker Shuttle for $45 per hiker for one-way service onto Highway 20. We can also assist with custom shuttles upon request starting at $200 for up to 10 hikers at different times or locations.
Trailhead Shuttle Options
Highway 20 Shuttle: Available daily for $45 per hiker (one-way)
Custom Shuttles: Most trailheads in Mount Baker-Snoqualmie and Okanogan-Wenatchee, which start at $200 for a 2 hour roundtrip based out of Mazama, including Hart’s Pass. Click here to learn more about custom shuttles.
Day Hikers: $75 per hiker roundtrip
